glitter madness

 sometimes it is fun to do something completely 

different than you are used to doing.

it keeps the creative juices fresh. :)

erin from legit hair wanted to do another shoot

so we thought of of the glitter theme and went for it.

each girl had her own "color" to compliment her hair color that erin did.

it was totally funky and different but a lot of fun to try something new.

during this whole shoot i couldn't help but think of this.

spring break part one: a bunch of crazy animals

the treck from idaho to california is not an easy one.

but so so worth it.

i got to see my beautiful sister.

and my best friend brittany.

she was forced to get the kids meal and we were pretty stoked about it.

AND THEN!! we were driving in the middle of nowhere in utah and saw a ZEBRA!

a petting zoo with a real legit zebra at some random gas station.

best potty break of my life.

the SNOW IS MELTING!!!

matt, travis and i went on a walk and this little guy kept following us.

like creeper status. 

we would walk for 5 min, turn around, he would see that we saw him, and then run back home.

over and over. 

i kinda love him.

i took this earlier today with the macro attachment on my lensbaby. kinda fun.

it is too cold to go outside and take pictures, so i edited older ones. =]

such an attractive couple/ best friends. yessss.

this is my sexy husband in hawaii. man how i wish we were back there right now. i love him.

k i have had that song stuck in my head going on 8 days now and i am sure me singing it all day long is probably driving my husband nuts. =]


so this will be my first white christmas and i think that's fine as long as i don't have to go outside.

i have been looking out at the pretty trees in front of my apartment covered in snow all morning. i have been missing my camera a lot these last couple weeks because classes have been nuts. so i put down my homework, left the warmth of my apartment, and ran to the trees in my slippers. the snow was deeper than i thought so in 2 seconds my slippers were filled with snow and my feet were freezing. i snapped one shot and ran back to my safe warm apartment. ug. i am such a wuss.

i am not a fan of the snow. it only belongs in photographs, on ski lifts, and at the north pole.

nothing like a good rock show

my husband used to be in a band called feverstone.

they are trying to convince him to come back.

i vote yes but we will see. =]

anyway. a band called for tomorrow we die from logan, utah lost a close friend in a car accident. he was in the hospital for a while before he passed away. they put together this concert to raise money for the family to help pay for hospital bills. it was a sweet thing to be a part of.

i got to use my new lens which creates way funky focus and blur. these are just straight out of the camera artsy fartsy goodness. perfect lens for a rock show.

wedding ring = keeping all the crazy girl fans away from my sexy husband. happy day.
